Swarm Collection Diary

Today we went to collect a swarm in someone’s tree. We got quite a shock when the swarm was FIVE METRES ABOVE THE GROUND.
Since our ladders are only 2.5m we connected 2 ladders on top of each other, strapped them together and did the same thing on the other side. This made a GIANT ladder. We climbed up and shook the bees into a tub and brought them back down. I was holding the ladder and some of the  bees fell on me:(
The cool thing is that swarms make a smell when they’re angry that you cant
confuse with anything else, it kinda smells like pollen, wheat, yeast and fresh

bread. Its description mas it seem bad but its actually a really nice smell
